19-year-old Aminath Shaba has been estranged from her relatives and been away
Police have begun looking for a woman that was reported missing in Maduvvari island of Raa Atoll.
19-year-old Aminath Shaba has been estranged from her relatives and been away from her home on the island since Friday evening, said a member of the island’s council.
Her family reported that she had ‘run away’ at about 16:30 on Friday, the council’s chair Abdullah Ahmed, said.
The family said that her phone is still reachable but her whereabouts are unknown. Shaba is described by her relatives to be of ‘normal’ temperament and of good health.
