White Alert issued from 4am to 10am

Maldives Metrological Service has issued a White Alert for atolls from Male’ to southern atolls of the Maldives.
The cautionary warning was issued from 4am to 10am on Sunday, adding that heavy rain and thunderstorms were expected over these areas. Winds are expected to gust to 40 mph.
Two White Alerts were issued on Saturday over various parts of the Maldives.
