Will not be silenced by SC's decision, will continue work against this judicial dictatorship: Lawyer Mahfooz
On Monday, the Supreme Court barred Saeed from all court hearings
He is one of the 56 lawyers that were suspended for calling for judiciary's reform
The Court accused Saeed of 'constantly violating set principles and regulations'

Lawyer Mahfooz Saeed has said that the Supreme Court's decision to disbar from him from all court hearings will not silence him.

In a tweet posted late Tuesday night, the lawyer added that he 'will continue to speak out against this judicial dictatorship'.

On Monday, Supreme Court via the Judicial Administration Department (DJA) issued an order to all courts, barring Saeed from attending any hearings in any court.

In the order marked 'very, very urgent', the Supreme Court said that additional action was being taken against Saeed 'for constantly violating set principles and regulations, and for contempt of courts'.

This bars Saeed from representing his clients, both with them and as a proxy, in Courts and Tribunals, as well as hearings of any ongoing cases in any court. He can only enter the courtroom 'if he is the defendant or respondent in a case'.

Saeed, one of the 56 lawyers who signed a petition calling for the judiciary's reform, was suspended on September 10, for participating in the petition. Saeed is among the 17 lawyers that are still under suspension.
