Supreme Court goes into recess, to resume on Jan. 10
The Court will be in recess until January 10, 2018
No hearings to held, except for those that require immediate attention
Juvenile Court and Civil Court are currently in recess, Criminal Court and High Court yet to start theirs

The Supreme Court will be in recess from Sunday, it has announced.

The Court will be in recess from December 10 to January 10, 2018.

It said that it will not hold any further hearings until January, except for those that need to held within in a certain time period, as per the Constitution and regulations.

Supreme Court added that despite going into recess, it will 'continue to consider motions and applications, as well as other administration work'.

In addition to the Supreme Court, both Juvenile Court and Civil Court are currently in recess, while the Criminal Court and High Court are yet to start theirs.
