President Yameen returns to Malé after inaugurating the Kulhudhuffushi mangrove reclamation project

President Yameen departed to Kulhudhuffushi on Sunday, arriving at Hanimaadhoo Airport at around 2:40 pm
The main purpose of the President's trip was to inaugurate the land reclamation project for the Kulhudhuffushi airport development; one of his campaign pledges back in 2013.

President Abdulla Yameen has returned to the capital Malé City after a short visit to Kulhudhuffushi island in Haa Dhaalu atoll.

President Yamee departed to Kulhudhuffushi on Sunday, arriving at Hanimaadhoo Airport at around 2:40 pm.

The main purpose of the President's trip was to inaugurate the land reclamation project for the Kulhudhuffushi airport development; one of his campaign pledges back in 2013.

Later in the evening, President Yameen joined the gathering held by the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), to mark its sixth anniversary.

At the gathering, President Yameen assured the Kulhudhuffushi people that flights will land at the Kulhudhuffushi Airport in August 2018.
