Balcony collapses in Maafannu, slams into car

The balcony of a house in Maafannu, in the capital Malé City, has collapsed on Saturday.

The balcony slammed into a car parked beneath, damaging it.

While the owner of the car is yet to be confirmed, it seems to be an expensive sports car and had a body cover.

There were other similar cars parked there as well, but did not suffer much damage.

Police said that the owners of the house and car had resolved the matter privately.
