First Couple in UK for a wedding

President Muizzu and FL Sajidha headed to UK on Wednesday
The first couple is in the United Kingdom on an unofficial visit.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed for the UK on the unofficial visit after nightfall on Wednesday.
Although the President's Office did not disclose further details about the first couple’s unofficial trip, a reliable source has revealed that the trip is to attend a wedding ceremony of a Maldivian family living in Manchester, UK.
According to the President’s Office, all expenses for the trip including those associated with administrative duties, as well as family and personal matters will be covered by the president personally.
It is noted that Muizzu has made numerous trips abroad during his first year in office.
