Discussions have been held regarding efforts to strengthen the relationship between neighboring India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Maldives’ ruling People’s National Congress (PNC).

The discussions were held between BJP President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and President of Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as part of the latter’s ongoing official visit to the neighboring country.

The meeting was held on Monday.

Taking to social media platform ‘X’ on Monday, BJP revealed that their president met the Maldivian leader in New Delhi.

Discussions at the meeting revolved around strengthening relations between the two parties.

Further, they also touched upon further enhancing the long-standing relationship between Maldives and India.
