More "delightful surprises" for the customers, said Ooredoo's CEO

As part of its month-long anniversary celebrations, Ooredoo is offering free data for a year.

Ooredoo said that new postpaid customers 'will receive 1.2 GB of free data per month, up to an entire year'.

In addition, new prepaid customers will also receive the same GB of data per month 'up to half a year, upon using MVR 50 of services per month'.

"Existing customers who upgrade their packages during the promo period will also receive 1.2 GB of free data per month, up to a year," added Ooredoo.

The company's CEO Najib Khan said that Ooredoo "will continue our efforts to ensure a differentiated experience for our customers," adding that he is confident that the "journey with us [Ooredoo] will be a wonderful one".

He added that the anniversary celebrations will last throughout August and that there are more "delightful surprises" for the customers.

Ooredoo Maldives, formerly known as Wataniya Telecom Maldives, was launched on 1st August 2005; as part of the month-long anniversary celebrations the company launched a Club Premier Lounge- a dedicated service center for its premium customers- on 13th August 2017.
