Pres. Muizzu to head to UAE on an official visit
President Muizzu will conclude the trip on February 15
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed returning home from a trip abroad
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is to head to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official trip.
The President will be departing some time on Sunday.
The Maldivian leader is undertaking the visit to participate in the governments’ summit to be held in UAE.
The summit will proceed from Sunday through Wednesday.
The president’s first official visit abroad since assuming office on 17 November 2023, was to Turkey.
Muizzu has also travelled to China since then.
He has travelled to Abu Dhabi to attend the COP28 summit as well.
A high-level delegation of senior government officials will accompany the president on the trip.
Several journalists from media houses will also be joining the trip.
President Muizzu will be concluding the official visit to UAE and returning home on February 15.
