The Pakistani Federal Minister reiterated his optimism that the Maldives will have a bright future under President Dr. Muizzu’s leadership

Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Murtaza Solangi, has paid a courtesy call on the President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

During the meeting held at the President’s Office, on Saturday, President Dr. Muizzu warmly welcomed and expressed his gratitude to the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs for visiting the Maldives to witness the Presidential Inauguration.

Federal Minister Murtaza Solangi congratulated the President on his assumption of office, characterizing the Inaugural Address as powerful and incredibly inspirational. He expressed enthusiasm and anticipation for President Dr. Muizzu’s policies which will allow growth of the Maldivian economy. He additionally emphasized on the desire to improve the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Pakistan.

The Federal Minister praised the Maldives' achievements when President Dr. Muizzu was the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure. He also conveyed eagerness to collaborate and explore the prospects of both nations and appealed for more direct flights between the two countries. He reiterated his optimism that the Maldives will have a bright future under President Dr. Muizzu’s leadership.

Concluding the call, the President and the Pakistani Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs expressed their hope for additional collaboration, strengthening of bilateral relations and establishing further cooperation.
