A woman has been arrested for assaulting a man with a sharp object, in Male' City.
Maldives Police Service disclosed that the authority received reports of a man being treated at ADK Hospital for a stab wound at around 11:02 am on Saturday.
MPS states that a 29 year-old woman has been arrested for stabbing the man.
MPS is further investigating the case.
Videos circulating on social media show a woman entering a mobile phone store and conversing with a male employee. She asked the employee to show her a phone, and the footage shows the woman yelling at the man. Before leaving the store, the woman stabs the man in the neck with a knife.
