President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has congratulated Dr. Mohamed Muizzu for winning the 2023 Presidential Election.

Taking to the platform, President Solih also expressed his gratitude to the public for showing great examples of democratic values.
He also thanked members of MDP and Adhaalath Party who worked together with him in the election.
PNC’s candidate Dr. Muizzu won the 2023 Presidential Election with 128,100 votes. This was 52.19 percent of the votes cast.
The second round of the presidential election held on Saturday saw 86 percent voter-turnout.
