President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the completion of various development projects in Rinbudhoo Island of Dhaalu Atoll.
The projects were inaugurated as part of President Solih's ongoing visit to the atoll, on Monday.
The newly inaugurated projects included the harbor upgrading project and water and sewerage network of the island.
The harbor upgrading project of the island was undertaken by Heavy Force Pvt. Ltd. The scope of the project included the construction of a 367-metre outer sea wall and an 82-metre revetment.
Altec Maldives Pvt. Ltd. built the island's water and sewerage networks.
The visit also saw President Solih inaugurating a newly developed jetty on the island by Sun Siyam Cares.
As part of his tour of the outlying atolls, President Solih is marking the completion of various developmental initiatives of the administration in the islands.
Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.
