MTCC mobilizes Omadhoo harbor development project site
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the Harbor Channel Dredging and Breakwater Construction Project of Manadhoo Island in Noonu Atoll, is well underway.
MTCC has disclosed that the project has so far seen 55 percent progress.
The company states that they have completed channel breakwater operations and construction of ramp.
Under the project, MTCC will be doing dredging and excavation operations of 29,038cbm.
The company will also be doing construction of a 195m breakwater; a 188m revetment; a concrete bridge and a ramp.
Additionally, MTCC will be installing navigational aids, as part of the project.
The value of the project is MVR 30.3 million.
