Fuhgiri case: testimonies to be collected on Sunday
 
Two previous hearings scheduled in connection with the case, were cancelled
 
The hearing has been scheduled for 9am, July 2
 
Currently ongoing is the collection of testimonies from state-presented witnesses

A hearing in the case of bribery charges raised against Former President Abdulla Yameen, Krik Riza and two other companies through the transactions of illegally leasing Fuhgiri island in Raa atoll, is to be held at the Criminal Court next week.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9am on July 2.

Two previous hearings scheduled in connection with the case, were cancelled after the court was informed that Krik Riza, accused in the case, was unwell.

Currently ongoing is the recording of testimonies by witnesses presented by the prosecution.
