Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham says the Office will resubmit case against Jumhooree Party Leader and Maamigili Constituency MP Qasim Ibrahim.

The case was rejected after the lawyers for Prosecutor General’s Office had not shown up for the hearing scheduled for 7pm on Monday.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, Bisham said the three cases were rejected after they had appealed for a delay to Tuesday. She said the Court Registrar would be quite aware of this.

State had filed charges of bribery, abuse of power and attempting to sway a voter against the Parliamentarian.
