Dhidhdhoo Harbor and Jetty Construction Project sees 70% completion

The value of the project is MVR 69.8 million

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has disclosed that the H.A. Dhidhdhoo Harbor and Jetty Construction Project is close to completion.

MTCC via twitter, shared that Dhidhdhoo Harbor and Jetty Construction Project is currently underway with 70 percent project completion.

The company stated that variation quay wall block installation work under the project has been completed.

Furthermore, new harbor basin dredging operations have reached 92 percent completion.

Dhidhdhoo Harbor and Jetty Construction Project involve, dredging and excavation operations of 78,000 cubic meters.

The project also includes, construction of a 616 meter breakwater; a 185 meter revetment; and a 326 meter quay wall.

Additionally, MTCC will also be doing installation work of 4,320 square meter harbor pavement and installation of harbor lights.

The value of the project is MVR 69.8 million.
