Maalhos Harbor Development Project nears completion
Maalhos Harbor Development Project is valued at MVR 56.9 million
Harbor Development project of Maalhos Island of Alifu Alifu Atoll
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has disclosed that Harbor Development project of Maalhos Island of Alifu Alifu Atoll is close to completion.
MTCC on Sunday, disclosed that the project has so far seen 71 percent completion.
Additionally, the company states that the fourth shipment of rock boulders required for the project have been delivered to the site.
Furthermore, the harbor pavement installation work under the project has reached 90 percent completion.
Maalhos Harbor Development Project is valued at MVR 56.9 million.
The project includes work on dredging and excavation operations of 24,335cbm, construction of a 394m quay wall, a 407m breakwater, a 100m revetment, as well as few other works
Additionally, the company will be doing work of 1970sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp and installation of harbor lights.
The project is to be completed within 360 days and was mobilized on 30 March 2022
