Ambassador of Sweden to Maldives calls on State Minister Khaleel
Ambassador Thesleff assured of his eagerness and commitment to work with the Government of the Maldives

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Jan Thesleff has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday.
At the meeting, State Minister Khaleel welcomed Ambassador Thesleff and congratulated him on presenting credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador from Sweden to Maldives.
State Minister expressed confidence that the Maldives and Sweden would continue to further collaborate in areas of mutual interest such as environment and climate change.
Additionally, Ambassador Thesleff assured of his eagerness and commitment to work with the Government of the Maldives and reflected on his plans to deepen cooperation between the two countries, during his tenure.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef, Secretary-Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed, Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Adam Hamid.
