Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the bus service has been returned to normal in Male' City after bringing temporary changes to the routes due to the fire that broke out in the Auction Shop area of the city on Monday morning.

Due to the fire, MTCC brought changes to their bus route 01 and 07. Bus route 01 is from West Park to Hulhumale' Phase One and route 07 is from West Park to Hulhumale' Phase Two.

MTCC's other bus routes include, the route 02, which is from Carnival Area to Hulhumale Phase 01, route 03, which is from West Park to Velana International Airport, route 04 from Hulhumale Phase one to Velana International Airport.

The Company's bus route 05 in Greater Male' Area is the Hulhumale Internal route.

Bus route 08 is from Carnival to Hulhumale' Phase Two and route 09 is from Hulhumale' Phase Two to Velana International Airport.

Raajje Transport Link (RTL) mini bus service in Male' City is provided in three routes. Route 10, Orchid route, route 11, Ameenee route and route 12, Sosun route.

Tickets are available through RTL application. Customers can also pay using cash.

People with special needs, people over the age of 65, children in school uniform and children under the age of three are allowed to travel free of charge.

MTCC states that customers will be able to view the bus schedule via the company's website and the application. Additionally, customers can also use the company's hotline 1650 to inquire about the services.

MTCC highlights that the company's aim as the largest transportation service provider of the country is to provide the customers with reliable and easily accessible services, at affordable prices.
