Work on design and build of Sh. Lhaimagu Harbor Development Project is well underway, states Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

MTCC states that 54 percent of the overall work of the project is now completed.

The company highlights that the installation of precast concrete blocks for quay wall construction is ongoing, with 70 percent of the work now completed.

Sh. Lhaimagu Harbour project consists of; dredging and excavation operations of 31,000cbm; construction of a 350m breakwater; a 276m quay wall; a 500m revetment; installation of 1,380sqm pavement, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.

The value of the project is MVR 56.3 million.
