Jumhooree party (JP) currently aims to increase members in their party to increase their power said the council member of JP and minister of transport Aishath Nahula.
During the ceremony to commemorate the newly signed members of JP in Nahula’s speech stated that she hopes to make the members of JP work together as a team. And that the problems that arise currently can be combated with such avid followers of Islam such as JP and if JP remains this way it will continue to grow the number of members in the party.
The new members of JP are Irushaduhdheen Rasheed and Muvazuhdheen Rasheed.
As JP is a part of the government coalition, they will be putting forward a candidate states Gasim Ibrahim, the Leader of JP and the Parliament member of Maamigili. Which according to JP will be whoever the leader of the party is at that time.
