MDP opens opportunity to form chapters prior to Congress

Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has called on the members to complete Party chapters before the Party’s Congress in September.
MDP said that all chapters registered in the Party and newly formed chapters must register and elect their Presidents before 16th July. The Party said only elected chapter Presidents can take part in the 4th Congress of the Party from 15th to 17th September.
The notice issued by the Party said that they will be informing the chapters of the progress of the applications and when the organizing committees of the chapters must be elected.
