Foreign Minister Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent condolences to the government and people of Greece, following the devastating wildfires that has claimed the lives of over 70 people.
In a tweet sent out via the ministry's official twitter account, Minister Asim sent condolences to the Greek government and people 'on the tragic loss of lives and damage to property caused by the devastating fires near Athens'.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected", added the minister.

Authorities are currently looking for dozens of people missing after the deadliest fire recorded in Greece in decades, which has killed at least 80 people and injured nearly 200. The number of victims is set to rise.
While the fires- one to the west of Athens near the town of Kineta and another to the northeast near the port of Rafina- started on Monday, Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras declared three days on national mourning on Thursday.
