A 33-year-old Maldivian man who fell from Hiyaa Tower 8 on Saturday morning was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, according to the Maldives Police Service (MPS).

The police institution reported receiving information about the incident at around 8:32am. The individual was found lying face down near Kaamil Didi School, with a significant amount of blood visible at the scene. It remains unclear from which floor the man fell.

Authorities confirmed that the man had no signs of life when emergency responders transported him to the hospital.

The case is currently under further investigation.
