The Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially launched ATM services in AA. Maalhos, marking a significant milestone in its nationwide “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” initiative. With this latest installation, every inhabited island in AA. Atoll now has access to ATM services.

The inauguration ceremony was held in Maalhos on Tuesday and was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, government ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, members of the Board of Directors, as well as senior bank officials.
Speaking at the event, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef highlighted the bank’s broader vision, noting that they remain committed to enhancing financial inclusion and accessibility for all communities in the region.
Today, with the completion of AA. atoll, we are proud to celebrate the introduction of ATM services in all inhabited islands of eight atolls under the “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” initiative. Our commitment to enhancing financial inclusion and accessibility for all communities in the region remains unwavering and we look forward to completing the project this year.”

The country’s national bank continues to lead the country’s financial sector with a robust network of 41 branches across all 20 atolls, 144 Self-Service Banking Centers, 200 ATMs, a wide-reaching Agent Banking network, and state-of-the-art digital banking services.
