Fire breaks out at Ensis warehouse in Hulhumalé
A fire incident occurred at the Ensis warehouse in Hulhumalé Phase I, with 95 percent of the fire brought under control by 8pm
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported that there was no risk of smoke and no chance of the fire spreading after it was doused, with no injuries reported
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) and the MNDF Fire and Rescue team responded promptly to the fire, and investigations are currently underway to determine the cause

A fire incident has occurred at the Ensis warehouse located in Hulhumalé Phase I.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported that 95 percent of the fire was brought under control hours later. They also noted that the materials burning included items such as pallets.

MNDF went on to reveal that there was no risk of smoke and no chance of the fire spreading after it was doused. No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.

MNDF reported that they received information about the fire incident at around 06:48pm on Thursday.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) stated that, upon receiving reports, they and the MNDF Fire and Rescue team promptly responded to a fire at a warehouse in the Industrial Zone of Hulhumalé Phase I.

Efforts were also made to determine the cause of the fire.

Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the case.
