A manhunt has been launched for expatriates involved in fraud cases, and other criminal cases.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has released photos of four expatriates they are locating in connection with two fraud cases and two other cases.

The police have announced that, as part of an ongoing investigation by the Fraud and Financial Investigation Unit, they need to question two individuals but have been unable to locate them. In line with Article 27 of the Regulations on Police Procedures for Criminal Investigations, the authorities have issued a public summons. The notice is directed at Bangladesh nationals Muhammad Toyobur, 31, and Muhammad Asad, 20, calling on them to come forward for questioning.

Both individuals are requested to appear at the Sergeant Adam Haleem Criminal Investigation Building at 11am on July 15.

In addition to this, for an ongoing investigation by the Maafannu Police Investigation unit, they need to summon an individual for questioning. Due to the person's unknown whereabouts, a summons could not be delivered. Therefore, in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations on Police Procedures for Criminal Investigations, they have announced a call for the individual to appear for questioning.

As part of the investigation, MD Mir Rahman, 21, and MD Mintu Mia, 38, have been summoned to Maafannu Police Station for questioning at 11am on July 15 as suspects in the case.
