It has been revealed that the opening ceremony for the new terminal at Velana International Airport (VIA) has been awarded to a company funded by Israel.
A credible source has confirmed to RaajjeMV that catering services for the upcoming event have been contracted at a cost of five million Pound Sterling. The contract has been awarded to ‘Banana Split’, a luxury event and wedding planning company based in London. Known for its high-end services, Banana Split operates internationally and specializes in organizing large-scale, exclusive events.
The company is known for its open support of Israel and for actively encouraging others to express solidarity with the country.
Amid growing speculation over an undisclosed agreement by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s administration to allocate two floors of the Velana International Airport’s (VIA) CIP terminal to JETEX, the company's proposal has now been leaked.
According to a credible source who shared the leaked proposal with RaajjeMV, JETEX has outlined plans to provide concierge services, ground handling, and VIP passenger assistance at the new terminal of Velana International Airport (VIA).
The proposal further states that JETEX will design and develop the VIP terminal, with a dedicated 1,000-square-meter area exclusively allocated for the company’s GA flights. This space would only be available for other airport uses in the absence of JETEX-operated GA flights.
