Bank of Maldives has arranged for easy Zakat Al-Fitr payments to be made through its mobile app and Zakat portal.
If customers wish to pay Zakat Al-Fitr through the Mobile App of the country’s national bank, they can find the Zakat payment link by pressing the "More" tab in the application.
In addition to the app, Zakat can also be paid through the Zakat Portal. Zakat can be paid through the BML Mobile App and BML Zakat Portal until 6pm on the 27th day of Ramadan.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has also begun accepting this year's Zakat Al-Fitr. Zakat House stated that online acceptance of Zakat Al-Fitr for the year 1446 has been scheduled from 1st Ramadan 1446 until 6am on 27th Ramadan 1446.
This time too, Zakat can be paid online through a total of five platforms. Zakat can be paid through Dhiraagu App/Dhiraagu Pay (website), Ooredoo, M-Faisa (application), Maldives Islamic Bank (application), Bank of Maldives Mobile Application, FahiPay (application), and Bandeyri Pay.
Zakat House revealed that Zakat Al-Fitr can be paid through BandeyriPay and FahiPay until the last day of Ramadan. Arrangements have been made to accept Zakat at the Islamic Center's conference hall, specifically for elderly people and those who are not familiar with making Zakat payments online.
