Azneen Rashad has accomplished a great honor after winning his third consecutive gold medal, at the ongoing South Asian Bodybuilding Championship, held in the Maldives.

Azneen bagged gold in the Men’s Sport Physique up to 170-centimeter category in the 14th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024.

The bodybuilder had previously bagged gold in the 2022 South Asia tournament held in Nepal, as well as the championship held in Maldives in 2023.

With this remarkable win, Azneen has become the first Maldivian athlete to win a gold medal for the third consecutive time after competing in a regional competition.

In addition to this, Azneen also competed at the World Championships and won gold twice in the last two editions.

He was also crowned the Best Athlete of the Year at the Maldives Sports Awards held in 2023.

Alongside Azneen, seven other Maldivian athletes won medals at the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship which kicked off in the Maldives on Saturday.
