Police have issued summons on Jumhooree Party Leader Qasim Ibrahim ordering him to appear in Police station at 2030 hrs Wednesday night.
Police media official had not denied nor confirmed the summons, adding that media will be made aware when Qasim would be summoned.
Raajje.mv understands that the summons had ordered Qasim to appear at Police at 2030hrs.
Qasim is currently one of the most senior figures at the opposition and one of the leaders of the joint Parliamentary Group spearheading the vote against Parliament Speaker Abdullah Maseeh.
The joint PG continues to stress that Maseeh’s no confidence vote will be submitted once again and right the issues facing the nation.
