A launch that disappeared while traveling to Addu City has been found, says Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).

Authorities informed the press that the search for a launch gone missing while traveling to Addu City Hithadhoo from Fiyoaree island, Gaaf Dhaalu atoll has been successful, with the launch being found some time on early Friday morning.

The launch named "Miho Palace" had not been heard from since its departure from Fiyoaree around 16:30 on Thursday. The launch was carrying four passengers on board when it went missing. MNDF's Coast Guard promptly began searching for the launch after it was reported missing around 22:33 on Thursday night.

Authorities found the missing launch 15 miles north of Addu City Hithadhoo around 04:00 am on Friday morning. The launch arrived at Addu City Hithadhoo around 05:30 am with the assistance of the Coast Guard.

All four passengers are safe and in stable condition, revealed authorities.
