The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has given an additional number of companies the authorization to send pilgrims for Umrah pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement released by the ministry on Sunday, an additional six companies were given permits which will be valid for a duration of two years as per article 4(b) of the country's pilgrimage regulations.
These additional companies are:
1. Arafat Hajj and Umrah Pvt Ltd
2. Nimsa Al Hajju Wal Umra
3. Gaafila Hajj and Umra
4. Al Mash-ar Hajj and Umra
5. Al-Burooj Holdings Pvt Ltd
6. Askoi Hajj and Umra
The ministry has previously authorized 25 companies to send pilgrims for Umrah pilgrimage. According to regulations, companies qualify for the permit of it is solely dedicated to providing pilgrimage services, and have 100% local ownership.
Additionally, the regulations describe the qualifications of the company's director, and other required documentation.
