A company has been hired to draft a master plan for the development of the Male’ north harbor and Gulifalhu.

The Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure signed the agreement with Singapore’s HQ Company at the Maldives embassy in Singapore on Wednesday.

The planning ministry stated that the company has agreed to draft the master plan within eight months for USD 650,000.

The development plan will ease the burden of loading and unloading of goods in Male’ by transferring the work to Gulhifalhu.
