Haseen resigns from Labour Party

Attorney Abdulla Haseen has resigned from the Maldives Labour and Social Democratic Party.

In the resignation letter, Haseen, who played a key role in forming the party, said that he has resigned as the secretary general and as a member.

Haseen told RaajjeMV that he will disclose the reason for his resignation at a later time.

During his time in the party, Haseen had advocated for the rights of workers and voiced concern over the working condition of Maldivian resort workers.
