Youth seriously injured in Male' motorcycle accident

Two motorcycles had collided on the ring road near Dharubaaruge on Sunday afternoon

A young man has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in capital Male’ City.

The police service stated that two motorcycles had collided on the ring road near Dharubaaruge on Sunday afternoon.

The 22-year-old driver sustained serious injuries to the head but the eight-year-old passenger and the other 23-year-old driver were unharmed.

The police service stated that both of them had licenses and that the injured driver is being treated at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
