Police’s first ISLES master’s course to begin in July

The course is affiliated with Australia’s Charles Sturt University

The first master’s programme of the police service’s Institute for Security Law Enforcement and Studies (ISLES) will begin in July, says Chief Inspector of Police Ibrahim Munaz.

Speaking on RaajjeTV, chief inspector Munaz said that they will conduct their course on law enforcement and security with Australia’s Charles Sturt University and that Australian experts will be instructors for the course.

Munaz said they have greatly reduced the cost for the course by allowing those with difficulties paying the two-year fee to pay the amount in three years.

He said that the two-year course is a golden opportunity for those new in the field, as the modules focus on the most important aspects of law enforcement and security. The course will be held at 4pm every day, to make it accessible to as many people as people, he said, adding that they will accept 60 applicants.

Requirements include having a bachelor’s degree a post-graduate degree, or diploma in a related field and over six years of experience.
