A scuffle between two migrant workers in capital Male’ City led to a stabbing on Friday night.
RaajjeMV understands that the assault occurred in front of Salsa Royal restaurant on Orchid Magu at 10:30pm.
The police media officer confirmed that a Bangladeshi national was stabbed in front of the restaurant and that he is now being treated at the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
The assailant was arrested as he was fleeing from the scene, stated the police.
While two people died after being assaulted with sharp objects last year, these incidents have been on the decrease in the capital city.
