President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has verified his Facebook account.

The President’s Facebook account was verified on Friday.

The President’s spokesperson Ibrahim Hood announced the Facebook account in a tweet on Friday and asked the public to follow for updates.

Hood earlier said that the President rarely uses his Facebook account.

President Solih’s official Twitter account, which he uses more often, has more than 50K followers.
