This was announced during a press conference at the President’s Office on Thursday

President’s Office is looking to a total of 451 cases of wrongful termination, in line with the new administration’s first 100-day agenda.

This was announced during a press conference at the President’s Office on Thursday, where panelists said that these cases are all from former president Abdulla Yameen’s administration.

The President’s Office had asked for such cases to be filed on December 3rd and had then set a deadline for 30 days.

The cases are to be reviewed by a committee at the President’s Office; cases include termination and other wrongful penalization of civil service employees, employees at state-run companies, and employees at ministerial offices.
