Former Manchester United goalkeeper Michael Schmeichel, considered to be one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, has arrived in the Maldives on Thursday.

RaajjeMV understands that Schmeichel is in the Maldives for Friday’s Maldives Football Awards and national team keeper Imran Mohamed’s retirement match on Sunday.

Schmeichel is set to join the match, along with Real Madrid’s Michel Salgado.

Tickets for the match began selling on Thursday, priced at MVR 100.
