The Prosecutor General (PG)’s Office has been changed to government building Velaanaage.
An official said that the PG’s Office resides on the 12th floor.
As part of the change, the offices of the Civil Service Commission and the Marketing and Public Relations Corporation have been switched from Velaanaage to PG’s Office’s old building.
The work to switch the government offices began last Sunday.
While there had been no news regarding the change, it is noteworthy that there were less court hearings scheduled last week, with some hearings being cancelled and no hearing being held on some days. The Criminal Court oversees cases regarding charges issued by the Prosecutor General.
