High Rise has kicked off their annual Vacations Expo with 24 exhibitors in 2018.

Shoko Noda, the UN representative to the Maldives, had officially inaugrated the event.

The Vacations Expo, which Highrise said would be held from 5th to 7th July, is a tourism and travel event that showcases services available to the Maldivian and expatriate communities in the country.

This year’s expo will harbour a symposium which will focus on travel out of and into the Maldives.

Participants of the expo range from local and foreign exhibitors; including travel agencies, airlines, and guesthouses.

Last year's expo included the Hajj Corporation, Lanka Hospitals, Holiday Kerala, Bond Safari India, Thai Tourism Board, and Sri Lanka’s The Kingsbury Hotel.
