Coast Guard saves people stranded at sea
They were found by a fishing boat from AA. Rasdhoo on Friday
The three were taken onboard the Cost Guard craft and taken to Male’ and 7pm
All three are foreigners and one of them was seriously ill due to starvation

The Coast Guard has rescued three people found stranded at sea on a dinghy, 60 nautical miles west of Ari Atoll.

The military said that they received report of the dinghy at 2pm on Friday after it was found by a fishing boat from AA. Rasdhoo on Friday.

The Coast Guard’s fast interceptor craft had gone to the area after receiving the report and the three were taken onboard the Cost Guard craft and taken to Male’ and 7pm.

They are now under police custody.

All three are foreigners and one of them was seriously ill due to starvation.

The police service is currently investigating the case.
