Human Rights Commission is conducting a survey on the elderly and people with special needs in Addu City.

The Commission said it will be conducting the survey with the help of the Addu City Council and the Pension Office.

The purpose of the survey is to find out whether the elderly and disabled in Addu City are receiving their legal protections.

The commission said that they will begin the survey on June 25 for a three-day period and will be visiting all the households with the elderly and/or disabled, which is around 1,500 people.
