Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) constituencies are to convene to discuss the details of the party’s strategy for this year’s presidential election.

MDP stated that the meetings will be held from Wednesday to Saturday in all the constituencies.

During the meetings, constituents will discuss MDP’s campaign strategy, manifesto, and the workings of the congress.

MDP’s “Extraordinary” congress will be held from June 29 to 30.

MDP leader and former president Mohamed Nasheed was the only one who contested the party’s primary election and has won the party ticket.
