Two parked Maldivian planes crashed into each other on Friday at the Velana International Airport due to the worsened weather.
One of the plane’s wing had hit the other while they were parked closely side by side.
Abdul Harim, managing director of Island Aviation which operates Maldivian, told RaajjeMV that the rudder of one of the planes was damaged and in need of repair.
The accident caused some flight delays in the afternoon.
