People interested in partaking in the seventh round of the civil service examination, can send applications from May 14th till June 4th. 

Department of Public Examination (DPE) has organized to collect application forms and fees from their examination centers. Therefore the forms and fees will be accepted from 10:00 am to 01:45 pm on working days this Ramadan. Furthermore, Civil Service Commission has organized the candidates partaking from the examination centers to have access to the forms and make their payments directly to their examination centers. Additionally, the application form can also be downloaded from Department of Public Examination's website. 

The aforementioned examinations are planned to be held on 10th November 2018, in all the islands that conduct O'level examinations. 

The civil service examination is based on a curriculum designed to assess certain capabilities believed to be necessary in a civil servant and to provide the opportunity to acquire the necessary qualities. 

The purpose of the examination prepared by Civil Service Training Institute and Department of Public Examination is to determine if the interested participants have the qualities required to be productive in the work environment and if they are qualified to work as a civil servant.
